What you are buying

A campaign on Clipped buys distribution through independent creators, paid per 1,000 verified views. It is explicitly not a guarantee of views, engagement, sales, or any other outcome — results depend on the brief, the content, and the creators who take it on.

Payment terms

Campaigns are funded in advance. Nothing goes live until the invoice for the campaign budget has been paid. Clipped (Pty) Ltd retains 30 percent of the campaign budget as its fee; the remainder is paid to creators according to the creator agreement.

Unspent budget

Any budget left unspent at the end of a campaign is either returned to you or rolled into a future campaign, at your election.

Content review

You approve the campaign brief before it goes live. Every video submitted against it is reviewed for compliance with that brief. A video that does not meet the brief is not paid for, and does not count against your budget.

Creator relationship

Creators are independent contractors of Clipped (Pty) Ltd, not of your brand. You may not contact or contract a creator directly for the same campaign outside the platform.

Content licence

What you may do with a video depends on what is set out in the specific campaign. Reuse of a video in your own paid advertising is only permitted where the campaign terms include that reuse right.

Responsibility for your claims

You warrant that any claim you ask creators to make about your product or service is true and substantiated. You indemnify Clipped (Pty) Ltd against any claim, loss or liability arising from content made at your direction.

Confidentiality

Campaign briefs and assets you provide are treated as confidential and are only shared with the creators and staff who need them to run your campaign.

Limitation of liability

Clipped (Pty) Ltd’s total liability to you under these terms is limited to the campaign budget.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of South Africa.
